Nicole Palazzo on Expat Life. Nicole did what many of us do or at least dream to do in our twenties- she moved across the globe, to live in a country, where she didn’t speak the language for a job opportunity. She didn’t know what would expect her and met some struggles along the way but also some great co-expats who helped her get through the rough patches. At some stage decided to document her and her guest’s expat journeys on her podcast the expat cast. Having lived abroad and been an expat myself – I know the struggles and would have wished for a podcast like this one at the time. In this podcast episode she shares her journey throughout her twenties and where they took her so far.

Listen in to hear:

  • Why college isn’t always what you expect it to be
  • What it’s like to work in a startup and get fired
  • Breaking the news of moving abroad to your parents
  • What it’s like to move abroad and the ups and downs of expat life
